Exception: Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved.
Today I encountered a strange exception when working with CRM SDK v9 to build a console application connecting to a D365 CE instance. When I inspected the inner exception, it said:
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
I had a frustrating error
We built a console app which do the automation of importing flat files of entities into CRM Online. The app is run by a scheduled task in a on-premise VM server. Everything was working fine until recently, the client told us they didn’t see their data imported in CRM for a few days and it held up their work.
A colleague asked me how to query multiple primary records and their related records using one QueryExpression. I paused for a moment, I couldn’t answer him certainly. I thought it would be possible, so I started researching. Here is what I found.
